MapWindow GIS軟體初探(一)

先前介紹了MapWindow GIS軟體時，僅分享了連結下載的位置，並沒有特別實際針對功能性去操作或是說明。這兩、三天測試了一些功能與閱讀了使用手冊，發現MapWindow GIS真的相當完整。當然，MapWindow GIS在國外已經有相當多的使用者再使用與加值，但是在國內卻比較少被介紹到，因此，想多花一些時間來介紹給國內的朋友們。

MapWindow GIS乍看之下，界面較一般使用的ESRI ArcView與MapInfo Pro簡單許多，很使用者可能會在這個地方打住，認為MapWindow GIS只是一般的開圖軟體，像是GAIA Viewer一樣。其實不然，MapWindow GIS相較於GAIA Viewer而言功能強大許多。其中，最特別的在於有許多付費與免付費的Plug-in程式可以提供使用。

在Plug-ins選單中，就羅列了目前已被開發出來的工具。其中部分使是需要付費的，例如:Shape2Earth這一個Plug-in(提供將Shape File發佈至Google Earth)；但是像Shapefile Editor就是免費的。使用者在使用的時候，就會看到版權公告，了解視需要付費或是免費的工具。
就初步使用上的分享，筆者將MapWindow GIS與ESRI ArcViewc、MapInfo Pro作簡單的比較:
1. MapWindow GIS與ESRI ArcViewc、MapInfo Pro都具有相同的地圖顯示平台，操作上的方法與概念大致上是相同的。例如:圖層的加入，可以透過工具列上的"加號"來新增。
2. 在屬性資料的顯示上，三者也都有提供標準的屬性資料表，讓使用者可以瀏覽物件的屬性。當然，圖資互動性的查詢，也存在MapWindow GIS的屬性資料表中。
3. 於屬性資料的查詢上，MapWindow GIS與ArcView較為相似，都是利用性質條件來作運算與篩選查詢；而MapInfo Pro則是用SQL的語法。
4. 在Layout與Graphy(統計圖)上，明顯的MapWindow GIS比較缺乏這樣的展示能力。
5. 在編修上，MapWindow GIS主要提供ESRI Shape File檔案的編修，這也是MapWindow GIS教為支持的資料格式。

眾觀以上論點，在地圖展示、屬性資料查詢、圖形編修上，MapWindow GIS已經具有相當程度的GIS功能了；更值得加許的是在他免費且開放性的架構。

Online Taiwan Coordinate System Translation

Most of people receive the GPS coordinate System and want to translate into Taiwan local Coordinate System TWD67 and TWD97. Here are two Online free tool that can help you make it happen. Although accuracy are plus or minus (±) 2 meters, but it's still valuable and useful to meet GIS usage.
很多使用這利用GPS接收座標(WGS84)，但是必須轉換為台灣本土座標系統TWD67與TWD97的數值才可以應用。現在介紹兩個免費的線上座標系統轉換程式，提供讀者使用(這兩個應用程式皆有誤差，但已經滿足基本的地圖應用)。
The NCKU Version:

If you receive WGS84 CS, and want translate into Taiwan local CS, please select "TWD97(WGS84)經緯度" as source CS, and then entry the CS value. Finally, click on "轉換".

The Sinica Version:
http://webgis.sinica.edu.tw/cgi-tran/webtrans.htm
If you receive WGS84 CS, you can select "WGS84經緯 to GRS67TM2" or "TWD97經緯 to TWD97TM2" to translate WGS84 CS to Taiwan local CS.

Free Taiwan English Map for Foreigners(台灣雙語地圖)

When you are the fist time coming to Taiwan. you might worry about how to get a English Map that you can easily use. Today, you can visit http://taiwanarmap.moi.gov.tw/website/moiE/run.htm website to search where you are going.

In this system, you can search the map by basic GIS function, something like: Road name, Division, and POI on left side of the page. After you search the Map, you can download the map as a JPEG file.

水土保持局整合性GIS查詢系統

水土保持局製作整合性地理資訊系統查詢網站，提供一般民眾查詢土石流、崩坍地、山坡地、特定水保區查詢。連結至http://gis.swcb.gov.tw/
Soil and Water Conservation Brearu provide the integration GIS system for specific and Water conservation district, hill, debris flow hazard zone query and display. Today, you can on-line get free info for land development.

水土保持局簡易水土保持申請書格式變更

行政院農業委員會98年9月10日農授水保字第0981851131號函，頒布簡易水土保持申報書申報書新格式；包含:新簡易水土保持申報書、簡易水土保持處理開工申報書、簡易水土保持處理完工申報書格式等，有關水土保持申請的技師與民眾，記得使用新的表格。

MGOS & MGE Load Balance setting

關於MapGuide Open Source(MGOS)與MapGuide Enterprise (MGE) Load Balancing設定操作本文詳述
1. 尋找MapGuide Web Tier Configuration檔案"webconfg.ini"
2. 找下方設定內容:

[ClientConnectionProperties]Port =2811
[SiteConnectionProperties]IpAddress =127.0.0.1
Port =2812
3.變更[SiteConnectionProperties]，假設你有兩台伺服器要進行Laod Balancing，且IP分別為111.111.111.111與111.111.111.222, 那兩台伺服器webconfg.ini設定如下:
A機器IP為111.111.111.111
[AdministrativeConnectionProperties]Port =2810
[ClientConnectionProperties]Port =2811
[SiteConnectionProperties]IpAddress =111.111.111.111,111.111.111.222
Port =2812
B機器IP為111.111.111.222
[AdministrativeConnectionProperties]Port =2810,2820
[ClientConnectionProperties]Port =2811,2821
[SiteConnectionProperties]IpAddress =111.111.111.111,111.111.111.222
Port =2812,2822
如果兩台伺服器都用標準PORT，那PORT部分可以都設定為2812，無須修改。如果想要用其他PORT，可以選用2820, 2821 與 2822 PORT
